Obituary for Daniel W Thomas

Daniel W. Thomas, resident of Apopka Florida passed away Sunday March 17th, 2024 at age 65 years old. Born January 24th, 1959, to John and Cynthia Thomas in Boulder, CO, but lived in Central Florida for the majority of his life. He was a man of few words, but not soft spoken or unopinionated. You always knew when he walked into a room and could feel his energy. He was a proud Air Force Veteran, and then spent the rest of his working career as an Optical Engineer at Lockheed Martin until medical retirement. He loved his country, wild animals, the ocean and adventures, but he loved his family and friends the most. He was a loyal man always willing to lend a helping hand in projects. He made it clear he was proud of the life he built with his wife Patti and three children. He is proceeded in death his parents John and Cynthia Thomas, his brothers Patrick and Kelly Thomas. He is survived by his wife Patricia (Goodspeed) Thomas, daughter Kiersta Hill (& Jason Hill) , Sons Christopher and Nathaniel Thomas (& Crystal Lopez), as well as his brother Michael(& Sherian) and sisters Kass Caroll and Leslie McIntosh (George Christian), as well as his grandchildren Logan Hill (& AnaMarie Hill) Brodie Hill, Kamber Hill, Liam Thomas, Lindsay Thomas, and his great grandchild Beckett Hill and Sadie Hill, as well as so many loving nieces and nephews that were a huge part of his life. Although his life was cut short. He will forever be loved and honored for the man he was.
