Obituary for Larry Pulsifer

Larry Bryan Pulsifer, Sr. SFC, a proud veteran of the Army, passed away March 25, 2024.

He was born April 6, 1944, the son of Wilbur and Jean Pulsifer. Larry grew up in Orlando, FL and graduated from Edgewater High School.

At the age of 18, Larry enlisted in the Army. He valued this service highly and attained the rank of SFC. He was a First Mate and Skipper of the Coastal waters. He served 3 tours in Vietnam and 1 tour in Korea. He sailed from New Orleans to Cam Ranh Bay and retired from West Point Military Academy in NY.

Larry is pre-deceased by his Mother, Father, 2nd Wife, Brother, and Son. He is survived by his daughters, Amy and Heather, grandchildren, Sara and Damen, his sisters, Cheryl and Joy, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Larry enjoyed working in his yard, taking care of his flowers and fruit trees. Fishing at Lake Monroe, telling stories of his service adventures and the fun he and his cousin Donnie had over the years and he loved searching for the perfect we'll just call them "antiques" for his home.

A service honoring the life of Larry will be held at Compassionate Funeral Home (320 N Central Ave-Oviedo, FL 32765) on Friday, April 12th from 4-6pm. Service will start at 5pm. There will be a grave side service Wednesday, April 17th at 9am at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery (5525 US Highway 1-North Mims, FL 32754).
