Obituary for Conrad Russell
Conrad Russell, age 89 died on January 27, 2021. He was born in Washington, DC in 1931. He is survived by his wife Carol, daughter Teresa (Daniel) Meadows, brother Edwin Russell, stepchildren Teri (David) Morgan and Paul (Becky) Huff, grandchildren Benjamin, Timothy, Lydia and Chloe, step grandchildren Joshua, Jacob, Jessica, and Joshua and several great grandchildren, and cousins Jim and Kenneth Stevens. Conrad was predeceased by his parents Lona and Edwin, sons Steven and Michael, and stepdaughter Conni.
Conrad graduated from the University of Maryland in 1958 with a bachelor of science degree in business and public administration. He worked as a systems analyst for the US Government in Washington, DC for 16 years and moved to Florida in 1967 where he owned 8 apartments in Orlando. He and his wife Carol moved to Brevard, NC in 2005. He enjoyed delivering food to seniors for Meals on Wheels. He moved back to Orlando, near his daughter, due to declining health in 2018.
Throughout his life he enjoyed bowling, golf and fishing.
He would like to be remembered for his integrity and good work ethic. Conrad loved the Lord his Savior and looked forward to going home to be with Him. A small family remembrance was held.
