Deidre was born on February 22nd,1950 to Alfonso and Joycelyn Robinson in Norwalk, Connecticut. There she spent her early childhood. She was a graduate of Norwalk High School where she was voted as “most inquisitive”, this was the perfect superlative because that inquisitiveness would follow her throughout adulthood. She enjoyed playing squash and backgammon. Deidre was twice married and divorced, had two children Maurice and Bianca. She later returned to Connecticut to live out her remaining years with the exception of the last three months of her life which were spent in Apopka, Florida with her daughter Bianca and grandson Isaiah.
