Donna Lorraine Wilson, 79, of Winter Park, FL passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024, at her home
under hospice care.
Donna was born on October 12, 1944, to the late Carl and Lillian Jahn. She was raised and attended
school in Denver, CO. Her early interests in life consisted of horseback riding and tending to cattle
with her father on her cutting horse.
After moving to Gainesville, FL she became an LPN, working in Dr’s offices where the patients soon
became friends and family to her. She followed that career by becoming a teacher’s aide at Kelley
Smith Community School in Palatka, FL. She eventually moved to Orlando, FL, got her bachelor’s
degree and began working at LFH Services, which is where she fulfilled the rest of her working
years. She was dedicated to them for approximately 30 years where she loved and was loved by her
coworkers.
Donna enjoyed watching Nascar racing and was a Florida Gator fan to the core. Her hobbies
consisted of listening to music, reading and macrame. She also enjoyed quilting blankets and
sharing them with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Lillian Jahn and her brother Carl Conrad Jahn.
Surviving is her daughter, Karen ‘Missy’ Swiger of Lumberport, WV and a brother Matthew A. Jahn of
Las Vegas, NV.
Donna is with her Lord and many people that she loved who went before her. She is with them
laughing and ‘catching up’. She is now at peace.
