Ethan Taylor Tamez,

20, of Oviedo, FL gained his wings March 12, 2022 after battling lifelong disabilities and illness.





Born October 23, 2001, Ethan was diagnosed with Quadripalegic Cerebral Palsy and doctors advised that he would not live past the age of 2, but Ethan was a fighter with an amazing strength and spirit and beat these odds with ease. He was 20 when heaven had called to him and gifted the world with love and determination far longer than predicted. A beautiful soul, Ethan was loved by all who knew him and easily earned a place in all their hearts. Everyone who encountered him was greeted with a smile, an excited blush and the true meaning of love. He adored attention and kisses on the forehead. He was a true testament to the power of the soul and the strength and will to survive. Despite his difficulties, which he fought with the strength to rival any warrior or champion, Ethan had a spark that brought joy and peace to his loved ones and strangers alike. He may be gone from the sight of his loved ones, but he will forever live on in their hearts and memories.




Ethan is survived by his parents, Heather Tamez and Patricia Wise, his brother Michael Tamez, and so many extended family members who consider themselves blessed to have known him. In his celebration of life, love and courage will be held privately at the convenience of the family. It is respectfully asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his honor to a cerebral palsy foundation of their choice or by simply honoring his beautiful spirit by acts of love and kindness as he was the very symbol of these things in his life.
