Obituary for Evelyn Bramlett
Audrey Evelyn (Jenkins) Bramlett, known by Evelyn, was born on February 21, 1917 in Marlow, Oklahoma to William and Maggie Bell Jenkins. Evelyn lived most of her life in Texas and was married to Virgil Truman Bramlett and raised 5 children ~ David Bramlett (Deceased) Malcolm Bramlett (Deceased), Teresa Bramlett (Lake Mary, FL) Karen Bramlett (Winter Springs, FL) and Dennis Bramlett (Richmond, TX). Evelyn has 6 grandchildren, Anthony Welsh (Lubbock, Tx) Tonya McNatt (Lubbock, Tx), Amy Jo Bramlett, (Abilene, TX), Brian Bramlett (Lufkin, Tx) Alicia Ward, (Richmond, Tx) Eric Todd Bramlett (Richmond, Tx) and 3 great grandchildren, Alan McNatt, (Wichita Falls, Tx) Nicholas Anderson (Lubbock, Tx) Brice Bramlett (Lufkin, Tx). Evelyn was a part time resident in FL since 1982 and was active in her daughter, Karen Bramlett's Fred Astaire Dance Studios and won several trophies from dance competitions, she was always the bell of the ball. September 11, 2001 Evelyn became a full time resident in Brooksville, FL where she had many friends and loved going to Festivals and Hot Air Balloon Rides and working in her Cactus Garden. The last 3 ½ years Evelyn lived in Lake Mary, FL with her daughter Teresa in a lovely 55+ community where she made many friends and was always making people laugh with her TX humor. Everyone could not believe how much energy she had a 103yrs old. Evelyn loved riding around in the golf cart and visiting all the residents. Evelyn will be deeply missed by all her family and those who knew her. Evelyn's wishes were to be cremated and returned to the family cemetery in Blackwell, TX to be laid to rest by her husband.
