Gail Helen Gibiser, 82, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on January 18, 2025, in Oviedo, Florida. Born on March 21, 1942, Gail grew up in Connecticut, where she graduated from Central High School and later attended Butler Business School.
Throughout her career, Gail demonstrated dedication and versatility, working for Avco running the teletype, contributing to production at Gold Bond Ice Cream, and serving in the maintenance department for the Marion County Board of County Commissioners.
Gail was a devoted wife to her husband, Frank Gibiser Jr., and a loving mother to her children: Debi Edwards (husband Mike) of Belleview; Frank Gibiser III (wife Jennifer) of Candler; Andrew Gibiser (wife Christina) of Winter Springs; and Kimberly Queen (husband James) of Ocala. She cherished her five grandchildren—Chelsea, Chase, Franki Lee, Valerie, and Andriana—and her great-grandchild Madison. Gail is also survived by her sisters Judy Skeen of Oviedo, Cathy Riccio of Trumbull, Connecticut, and Diane Terasovich of Milford, Connecticut.
A woman of deep faith and compassion, Gail was an active member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Ocala and St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Oviedo. She found joy in spending time with family and friends, fishing, playing cards and bingo, and cheering for her beloved Gator football team.
