Jodie Maxine Conway of Deland, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025 at the age of 49. Born January 19, 1976, in Metairie, Louisiana, she was the beloved daughter of Kathryn and Walter Fayad.
Jodie was a loving mother to Alexis Rose Conway and James Robert Conway and a cherished grandmother to her grandson Lucas Thomas Conway. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, strength, feistiness, sense of humor, laughter and her passion for cosmetology and just spending time with her family.
Her life was a testament to her love, strength and resilience. She dedicated her life to her family, always there with a listening ear, a warm embrace, words of encouragement and ability to make you laugh.
She is survived by her children, Alexis Rose Conway and James Robert Conway and her grandson Lucas Thomas Conway, her siblings Tom Millirons, Tammy Crawford, Tanya Rocha, Michael Fayad, Crystal Murphy and 7 nieces and nephews.
