John, beloved son of Jack and Janet, passed away on June 29, 2025. He was a devoted brother to Jennifer and a proud uncle to Kaylee, Zac, Lily, and Jake. Known for his big heart and unforgettable sense of humor, John was also a cousin and friend to many.
John’s life was full of personality, passion, and punchlines. A true original, he had a deep love for the little things that brought him joy—from a perfect slice of pizza to a well-timed joke. He cheered for the '95 Tribe with unwavering devotion (despite his eternal grudge against the owner), and if you caught him on a Sunday night, chances are he was flipping between Golden Girls reruns and Bar Rescue.
No one could out sing John when Pat Dailey’s “Put In Bay” came on. It was a favorite he never missed a chance to belt out. He loved a Lake Erie cruise on the Jet Express and was always up for a getaway—especially if it meant a Delta flight and a spot on a cruise ship!
His favorite foods were simple and classic—pizza, wings, and perch—and he never met a pair of high-top tennis shoes he didn’t like. He enjoyed the dogs of his lifetime — Lucky, Lily, Ginger, and Hershey — and truly adored any dog he encountered.
Whether he was praising his favorite president, or just sharing a laugh, John made every moment brighter with his wit, warmth, and one-of-a-kind charm.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered
