Juliane Marie Tannenbaum (nee Tobin) was born May 1, 1947 in Regensburg, Germany. She passed peacefully on May 12, 2023 after battling Alzheimer’s disease. Julie devoted her life to her family and her faith. She took pride in always preparing feasts for her family during all holidays and gatherings. She supported and attended every event involving her children or her grandchildren, as they were her pride and joy. Julie was predeceased by her parents, William and Margarete Tobin, her in-laws, Norman and Shirley Tannenbaum, her son-in law, Gary Hendricks Jr., and her beloved husband of 51 years, Bruce. Julie is survived by her daughters, Alicia (Mitchell) Howard and Judy (Aaron) Giachetti, and her grandchildren, Shannon Hendricks, Brianna Hendricks, Kylie Giachetti, Sean Hendricks, Brendan Hendricks, Nadia Giachetti, and Alexander Howard. She is also survived by her brothers William (Stephanie) Tobin and Raymond Tobin, brother-in law, Scott Tannenbaum, sister-in-law, Rebecca Beard, nephew Will (Ceselie) Tobin and niece Melissa (Bobby) Dupont, and her grand-nephews. While her death leaves her family heartbroken, they take solace in the fact that she is no longer suffering and is reunited with Bruce in heaven.
There will be a funeral mass on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 10:30 am at All Souls Historic Chapel, 800 South Oak Avenue, Sanford, FL 32771.
