Kathleen passed away September 11,2023, at the Advent Health Hospice Care in Orlando, Florida. She was born in Frankfort, Indiana. She spent most of her adult life in Lafayette, Indiana where she met and Married Robert Hanover on August 20th, 1965. In 1980, she moved to Corpus Cristy, Texas and lived there for 3 years when she moved to Ocala, Florida. In 2007, after the death of her husband, Robert Hanover, she moved to Orlando, Florida. She has resided in Orlando, with her son, Bret Tyrrell and Stepson, Ronald “RJ” Jones until she passed.
Kathleen worked at Hudlows Cleaners for over 20 years and then at the Indiana Veterans Home (the Soldiers Home), in West Lafayette, In, until she moved to Texas. She enjoyed dancing at the Eagles Club in her younger years and playing Bingo at the VFW later in life.
Kathleen is survived by her son; Bre9t Tyrrell, stepdaughter; Camilla Torres(Davenport, IA), 3 stepsons; Allen (Bob) Hanover(Missouri), Donald (Jodie) Hanover (Omaha, Neb), and Ronald (RJ) Jones(Orlando, Florida). She has 11 grand children and numerous great grandchildren.
She is also survived by Her Brother, Monte (Trecia) Mathews, and sister, Madonna (Ron) Smart. She also has several nieces and nephews.
Kathleen is preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Hanover and her parents, Daisy, and Evert Patterson.
Kathleens body is being cremated and will reside next to her husband, Robert Hanover, at The Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Ocala, Florida.
