Michael (“Mike”) John Frawley, (85) of Oviedo/Lake Placid, Florida and Bronx, New York, passed away, January 18, 2024.
Born on May 25, 1938, in New York City, New York, he was the son of the late Patrick and Theresa (Naughton) Frawley.
Mike was proud of his family and his Irish heritage. He is survived by his wife, Vivien of almost 67 years, his six children: Michael, Kathy, Elaine(Brian) Fitzgerald, Donna, Christopher (Sherry), John (Jean Marie); 12 grandchildren: Danielle (Tommy) Hummel, Katie, Kevin, Matthew, Morgan, Briana (Jonty) Fox, Devin (Jt) Taylor, Jillian, McKenna, Jeaneva, Logan, and Johnny; 9 great grandchildren: Silverlyn, Tommy, Christopher, Ashtyn, Leityn, Harvey, Leo, August and Ireland. Mike is also survived by his sister Mary (Larry Dolan, deceased), two brothers, Jim (Barbara), John (Ellen), 24 nieces and nephews, and his late brothers Patrick (Eileen, deceased) and Tommy.
In his leisure time, Mike lived life to the fullest. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was filled with knowledge gained through life experiences: he was an adventurous traveler, avid fisherman, hunter, and karaoke king. He loved the outdoors and boating on his lake and could fix or build anything. He loved to sing, whistle and entertain people, quick with a joke or a story and always made everyone laugh. He loved an audience!
Mike will be missed by many. He was our hero/superman and a fighter/warrior. This is not goodbye, but until we meet again. We love and miss you and you will be forever in our hearts.
A private celebration of life will be held in March.
