Miles Riley Jr. of Oviedo, FL passed through the pearly gates of heaven on August 4, 2024. Miles was born in Jackson, MS. on May 6, 1940. He was the son of Miles Riley and Elise Hopson Riley.
Miles graduated in 1962 from Ole Miss University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. GO Rebels! He then joined the United States Army as an officer serving 4 years in Germany during peace time.
Miles began his career at National Standard Life Insurance. He later changed direction and purchased a Petland. Miles retired as a real estate agent.
Miles was a devout Christian. He enjoyed teaching bible study and in his free time loved fishing, golf and the companionship of his faithful dog, KT.
Miles is survived by his children, Dawn Riley, Michelle D’Arville, Tricia White and Bert Von Hagel; and sister, Suzanne Riley Brown and brother in law, Jim Brown.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
