Obituary for Nancy A. Miller
On June 13th, 2021 our beloved Mother and Superhero earned her wings.
Nancy A. Miller was born July 10, 1934 in Utica, NY to Gerald and Cora Waterman who preceded her in death.
She married Donald F. Miller on June 5th 1954 and raised 5 loving children. They were married 53 years and he passed Sept 6th 2006.
Nancy was full of energy and had such a zest for life. She devoted her entire life to her children and always wanted to make sure they had what they needed. She had strength; was generous, kind and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She took pride in wrapping gifts and sending special things in the mail. She loved to adorn gifts with little trinkets or candies tucked away in a bow. She took pleasure in sending greeting cards just because, all while holding on to those that came in return. Nancy was a giver, If you said you liked something, she would offer it to you. She enjoyed hot tea with lemon, bingo and most of all connecting with people. Nancy loved to share stories and laugh, recalling memories of the good ole’ days with dear friends and family. Nancy was larger than life and she will be sorely missed.
Nancy is survived by her son, Patrick Miller ( Cindy Miller) of Fulton, NY her daughter Colleen Wight (Charles Wight) of Sanford Florida, her son Scott Miller of Fulton, her son Steven Miller (Claudine Miller) of Missouri, her daughter Tracy Miller( Michael Newman) of Clay NY. Her grandchildren; Steven Sickler Stacey and Joshua Miller. Tara O’ Leary, Kevin and David Wight. Carissa Town-Martin. Danielle Henderson and Jessica Hilse. Lukas and Logan Karwowski. Great grandchildren; Kaden Wight, Jason Wight, Kyra and Carter Hilse, Everly Paige Henderson, Mason and Nicholas O’Leary, Jake and Luke Sickler, Lucas, Sophia and Melissa Martin along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
