Obituary for Paul Christopoulos
Paul Christopoulos, age 79, died peacefully with his wife Judy by his side, on October 9, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Paul was born in Oakland, California, and spent most of his life in the San Francisco Bay Area where he was a successful cost accountant and real estate broker. Retirement brought Paul and Judy to Central Florida, where, refusing to actually retire, Paul spent many happy hours at the Orlando Convention Center working as a greeter and guard.

Paul will be remembered by all who knew him as a man that was full of contradictions. He was as frugal as the day is long, but would give you the shirt off of his back. He had high expectations for everyone in his life, but was insanely proud of even the smallest of accomplishments. He was hard to get to know yet made friends everywhere he went. But most of all he will be remembered as a man who loved deeply and who was loved by many.

Paul is survived by his wife of 24 years, Judy, his daughter and son-in-law Susie and Dave Schinski of Menlo Park, California, his son and daughter-in-law Brett and Whitney Christopoulos of Moraga, California, his step-daughter and son-in-law Julie Anne and Chris Leggett of Oviedo, Florida and six beloved grandchildren: Devin, David, Conner, Daniel, Cooper and Charlie.

Friends wishing to celebrate Paul’s life are invited to attend Mass on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11:00 am at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 1050 Celebration Avenue in Celebration, Florida. A private interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Anthony’s Foundation Food Bank at https://www.stanthonysf.org/donate/ or (415) 241-2600.
