Regina Hayes Ramsay, age 58, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025 at her home after bravely fighting cancer for almost 4 years. She was born on December 26, 1966 in Mullins South Carolina to the late Rebecca Hayes. She attended Mullins High School and graduated in 1985 then moved to Florida to attend the University of Central Florida and graduated with an MBA. She married Kevin Ramsay on May 13, 1995 in Sanford and was a long time resident of Orlando.
She worked as a Software Quality Engineer at Lockheed Martin for over 30 years and retired in January of 2024. In her retirement she enjoyed reading and spending time at New Smyrna Beach. She very much enjoyed decorating for Halloween and Christmas and took great joy in hosting Easter dinner for the family each year. She also loved antiquing with her husband any chance they had and both kept busy as she was project manager for their many projects around the house.
She enjoyed being an integral part of her children’s lives always available to offer advice, show support or just talk when needed. She left a lasting impression to family, friends and coworkers who knew her well.
She is survived by her husband Kevin, daughters Kaley and Summer, parents Ree and Jenny Graham, sister Cissy Drew (David) as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Ceremony on July 11th 2025 at the Sanora Country Club in Sanford to reminisce and honor the life of Regina. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Colorectal Cancer Alliance https://colorectalcancer.org/.
