Obituary for Sean King
Sean Malik King passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021, after a 2-year battle with kidney failure. He was 37 years old.
Sean was born on January 23, 1984, to parents Delia Linda and Joseph R King; in Orlando, Florida. He attended Jones High School and later Orlando Tech, where he obtained a Certification in music production.
An enthusiastic writer, Sean recorded 10 singles. Sean had a love for music and a greater love for laughter. Whether with friends or family, he could be heard cracking jokes. His energy was contagious and his smile could bring life to the coldest of rooms.
Sean’s infectious joy won the heart of a young lady. He and Crystal Myrick would bring new laughter into the world. Their first, Tikari. Their second, Sadé. Sean later won a new heart. He and then wife, Ashlei Cosme gave birth to his youngest of his joys, Isaiah.

Sean is survived by his Mother Linda Alston-King, his brothers Anthony Alston and Rahsaan King.

Cousins Brandy Griffin, Tiffany Robinson, Douglas, Ginger and Oscar Flowe, Crystal Person, Ceilani Griffin, Michael Parish, and Anjella and Bethany Warnshuis, John and Mark Alston, Andre Little Alston, Iris Kelly, Angie Greene, Marie Ann Davis, Wanda Carmon, Carolyn Roebuck, Deanne Roebuck-Jones, Birdia Butts, Juan Greene, Roy, Linda, Roy Jr., Alex Rosario, Maria, Alajandro Destiny and Sheeba Rosario, Alex Greene, Selina Greene, Chika Hodder, Lionel Gibbons, Wendy Mitchell and William Alston.
Sean is predeceased in death by his father Joseph King, his Uncle John Alston, and his Aunt Beatrice Alston-Flowe.
Sean also had a number of close friends who love and will miss him as well.
The family wishes to thank all Family and Friends who shared prayers, comforting thoughts, love and generosity for all who feel the loss of our dear Sean.
We will miss Sean, but we will not forget him. We ALL can look forward to the Resurrection Hope Jehovah and Jesus promises at Acts 24:15 – “And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.”
