Terry Max Elijah, 79, passed away Monday, September 18th in DeLand, Florida.
He was a man of faith and served his country in the military. He coached high school golf and baseball at Blackhawk Christian High School for 25 years. He also was a standout athlete at Ligonier High School in Indiana. Known for his infectious personality, he loved helping people.
He worked for 20 years at International Harvester and later at Walt Disney World, after retirement.
He was born to Max and Ruth Elijah in 1944 and is survived by his sister, Jane Noelle (Bill). He is also survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Carolyn and their children, Amy (Billy Chinners) of Goose Creek, South Carolina, Jill (Jamie May) of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. Ryan (Tasha) of Orlando, Florida. Daughter, Angela, preceded him in passing. Terry loved his 9 grandchildren.
Ashley Fitch (Jeremy), Seth Kisler, James May (Brittany), Isaiah May (Brianna), Hannah May, Jake and Luke Elijah, Spencer Clark (Luz) and Megan Clark. He also had 6 great grandchildren. Arlow, Samuel, Mila, Aurora, Ashton and Theo.
A Celebration of Life service was held Sunday, September 24th at Blackhawk Ministries, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
