Thomas “Tom” Schuller
October 3, 1959 – March 7, 2026
Thomas “Tom” Schuller, of Oakhill, Florida, passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 66. Tom lived a life defined by faith, hard work, and an unwavering devotion to his family and the Agriculture community he loved.
Born on October 3, 1959, Tom was truly a self-made farmer and rancher. Through determination, grit, and countless early mornings and long days, he built a life rooted in the land and in providing for those he loved.
Those who knew Tom often said he was “built different,” possessing a work ethic and perseverance that set him apart.
Tom was a faithful Catholic whose values guided every aspect of his life, and A Proud Parishioner at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Mims.
His dedication extended far beyond his own land/operation. He was a long-time board member of the Brevard County Farm Bureau and proudly served as its President for nearly 20 years, advocating for farmers and Ranchers and helping strengthen the agricultural community he cared so deeply about.
Tom was preceded in death by his father, Robert Schuller, and his baby sister, Mary Celeste.
He is survived by his loving mother, Dallas Schuller; his brothers, Tim (Lisa) Schuller and Greg (Linda) Schuller; and his sisters, Charlyne (Jim) Cross and Cathy (Arsenio) Mestre, and their families.
At the center of Tom’s life was his family. He shared nearly 40 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Laurie, whose love and partnership were the foundation of their life together.
He was a proud father to his son, Tom (Nicole) Schuller, and his daughter, Jennifer (Ralph) Cahoon.
Tom’s greatest joy in later years was being “Poppa” to his five grandchildren: Daisey Cahoon, Tyle Schuller, Kash Cahoon, Jovie Schuller, and Paisley Cahoon, each of whom brought immense pride and happiness to his life.
Tom will be remembered for his steadfast faith, his deep love for the land, his leadership within the agriculture community, and the quiet strength with which he cared for his family. His legacy of hard work, resilience, and devotion will live on in the lives of those who loved him and in the fields he worked so faithfully.
