Obituary for Karen Hart
I met Karen in Jacksonville in 1965 working at a Morrisons Cafeteria, we quickly fell in love and shortly decided we wanted to marry, live together, spend the rest of our lives together. I was twenty three and she was only in her late teens so people said she was too young and the age difference too great and it would never last. Well we proved them wrong! We spent 56 happy years with each other with only the littlest bit of bickering, raised three children and were the proud Grandparents of five beautiful Granddaughters. Karen also opened our home to other family members from time to time whose situation needed assistance. In early married life Karen enjoyed sewing and made a lot of the clothes she wore, later she discovered home canning and stocked our pantry well with an assortment preserved foods. She was an avid reader and spent many hours with many books over the years. Failing eyesight didn't stop her, she discovered eBooks with larger print and continued enjoying her past time. Failing health over the last few years limited her mobility and her work around the house became more difficult but her love and devotion to her family remained as strong as ever. On July 14, 2021 she passed away quietly at home in her bed with her loving family around her.

Karen is survived by her husband Bill, two sons Robert (and Jaimi) and Michael, a daughter Dianna, and the five beautiful Granddaughters Leanne, Katie, Lexi, Keira, and Kailey.
