Virginia Diane Jenigen, age 70, of Orlando, Florida, died in Hospice care on August 4th, 2024 in Altamonte Springs, Florida, surrounded by those she loved. She was born in Indianola, Mississippi, but grew up in Memphis, Tennessee which she very much still loved despite calling Central Florida home for nearly 40 years. Diane, as her friends and family knew her, had a very giving nature and would not hesitate to lend a hand or help whenever asked. She enjoyed watching the Hallmark Channel and the Gameshow Network as well as rooting on the Miami Dolphins every Sunday. A long-time member of the Moose Lodge, she would frequently play bingo and sing karaoke with her friends. She also dreamed of visiting the Alps someday and running in the hills like Maria in the “Sound of Music”. Most importantly, she was a selfless and caring Mother who always looked out for her son and family, even as life made it difficult to look out for herself. She is survived by her mother, Betty Moore of Orlando; her sister, Vicki Dixon of Lecanto, Florida; her son, Jamie Cline of Orlando; and her nieces Lisa Marie Clanton, Cheyenne Clanton and Erryn Wilson of Memphis, Tennessee. As Diane had many friends and family surrounding her through her final days, a celebration of life will be held at a later date, to give the family time to grieve. In lieu of donations to the family, we ask that you donate to your local Moose Lodge or other favorite charity organization that has children at the core of its mission.
